Tuborg Green

Tuborg Green

Turk Tuborg, Izmir, Turkey (Carlsberg) - Pilsner
Thursday 23 February 2012 – 4.6%Alc./Vol.    55 / 100

Initial Thoughts
A Danish pilsner brewed in Turkey under supervision... (Insert head scratching here) The foreshadowing line, “Liquid Soundtrack” on the can adds to my confusion...
First Sip
Second sip... Third sip... is it in yet? An old adage about sexual congress in a canoe springs to mind.
Halfway Through
The intriguing label “Green” grabbed my attention, and the obvious European influence on the label led me to anticipate a more satisfying beverage... A Danish beer from Turkey to slake the thirst of the nightclubbing masses... Globalization at work...
Bottoms Up
Not bad if you’re thirsty I suppose. Think Coor’s Light in a clean tee-shirt. Buy it for your friends who come over for a beer and then ask if you have anything with a Superbowl ad budget in the fridge...
