Pilsner Urquell

Pilsner Urquell

Plzensky Prazdrol, Pilsen, Czech Republic - Pilsner

Wednesday 15 February 2012 – 4.4%Alc./Vol.    89 / 100

Initial Thoughts
The outside of the can quietly announces “The Original Pilsner From Pilsen”. The green and gold can with the faux wax seal promise quality. This should be interesting...
First Sip
I have to say, I have a certain appreciation for beer that brings it’s “A game” up front! Hoppy, dry, wonderful razor sharp flavor profile that is classic Pilsner. Blessed with a nice deep gold colour...
Halfway Through
Many beers change drastically from the top to the bottom of the glass. As they warm up tastes emerge and disappear, it can be a genuine taste journey. Not so much with Pilsner Urquell. As it disappeared it didn’t change noticeably for me, it just got a little warmer...
Bottoms Up
Brass handrails. Seasoned, cast iron cookware. Genuine wood cabinetry. Pilsner Urquell. The trait these all have in common is the solid dependability of real quality.  Na zdravi!
