First Impression
I find myself somehow intrigued by the packaging presentation of this beer. Clearly Hawaiian influenced, yet I'm confused at the heritage of Hawaii's brewers, as I was unaware of a brewing history in Hawaii. And this particular beer hails from the land of ice and snow no less. Should be interesting.
First Sip
Great colour! With the characteristic haze of an authentic Pale Ale, my confusion is finding solace in these familiar and heartwarming qualities... Aloha hops! Bold, bitter up front with alluring full fruit character glowing on the back palate.
Halfway
This is a full feature length flavour bomb of a beer. As a pale ale should be!
Bottoms Up
I don't know about Hawaiian but this beer is every bit as colorful as the world's favorite volcanic island chain! If you enjoy such brewed adventures as Flying Monkey's Smashbomb Atomic IPA, Hawaiian Pale Ale ought to find favor with you and your ilk. So I just read the back label. It's made with pineapple juice. Hence, Hawaiian Style. Duh.
